Achievement Unlocked: Unlocked Achievements!


Today's update includes significant changes to user experience and game balance based on player feedback from the first release.

Killing a monster now makes it clear that the monster's energy adds to the player's total power displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. It should also be clearer when the game speed changes.

Minigames are easier to unlock. Nobody was playing the minigames because nobody knew they existed, so I lowered the entry for the first minigame (Search) from 500 power to 20. Minigames give better rewards as you level them up.

I added a system menu, but all the options are placeholder text while I decide on an appropriate look for the controls. The "Quit" option should work as expected (the game will stop playing).

Finally, I added an achievements system to let players know they're on the right track to make progress in the game.
