Save Game Fix and Early Access


The major change this week is a fix to saved games so that heroes save more reliably. You should be able to train heroes and have them persist when you quit and reload the game (if you have save functionality turned on, it is still off by default). The effects of claiming territory with an Avatar and defeating a boss monster are not currently saved (except for dead heroes from fighting a boss monster of course).

When you load your saved game, all heroes will be gone and you will have all your upgrade points unspent. There were significant changes to storage classes to make them serialize more efficiently and reliably.

When you hover over a hp button for a hero, and that hero is on the current dungeon level, it should be clear which hero's button you are hovering.

Most of my time this week was spent on cloud saves and designing multiplayer options, none of which is enabled in the current build.
